Ten quiet minutes
Whichever machine you pick, this is the part that matters. It works with either one.
Press the button before you reach for your phone. While it warms, let the house stay still. Those first few minutes belong to you.
Choose today's bag on purpose. Fresh whole beans, ground right before the shot. Breathe in when the grinder starts. That smell is half the cup.
Espresso if the day needs focus, drip if it needs company. Watch it pour. Nothing to fix, nothing to rush.
